The weather has been nice and hot. I am ready for a sun-less, rainy day around here. We have swam so much this summer, we all have a great tan!! The last few weeks in Palestine have been very hard..getting used to the new town, having few friends, leaving all my friends behind, having little money, and rearranging bills to suit a new pay schedule, .. it's all been a little hard. But, we are determined and I have actually made a few friends I really like!! :D

We are moved. We moved all the way to Palestine the first week of July. It's a long, long way from home, but missing Josh would have been far more hard than being this far from family. We are doing fine. I get bored often. I hope for new and better things to come. Life is hairy at times, I need to lose weight, and my kids are so missed on Thursdays...but, for now..I am trying to see the glass as half - full!

I've been a bad, bad blogger. I haven't gotten on here to tell you all the news and updates of the past month or so. Well, Josh left for training today..sadly..we miss him already. My summer classes started last week, but I am doing them all online so it's easier. Taking a novels course and a music course is not all that fun. Brynn and I have been swimming a few times already this summer, with Josh. Today we went without Josh! :( It was NOT as fun. I really am gonna miss him while he is gone to training during the week. The weekends he will be home. I am beginning to see the idea of moving to Athens or Tyler or Canton a much bigger possibility. :/

JOSH GOT THE JOB!! He starts on June 18th. He will go to Palestine and train. I have no idea how long or when he gets paid, which are the things that scare me most. I am just so happy that he is going to be working in a field of work that my Dad truly appreciates. I am also happy that he is going to be doing something that makes me proud. I love him and I know just KNOWing that he is getting out from under Redneck is making him happy!! Maybe one day we will move closer to Palestine, maybe not..either way..we are going to be no longer an un-happy family! :)

You know, I think this type of thing only happens to us. Today, yet again, Josh's paycheck was not direct deposited, like it should have been. We have like 9cents in the bank. Thankfully, I tucked some away. However, it's not cool to have bills due YESTERDAY and need to be paid. Gotta wait til Monday. This happened before in February. Apparently the cause is a missing ZERO at the front of our account number. BOO!! I am sick of this crap. I am ready for Josh to get another job!

The swine flu scares me. Today, I read that the first U.S. death was a toddler. This baby did travel to Mexico prior to contracting the flu. However, what scares me is that this child is VERY close in age to my baby, Brynn. I just want to be safe. I just want my kids to be safe. I don't want my family to ever contract this. I am scared that my kids are not safely taking vitamins at their dads and I am scared that we aren't all healthy ENOUGH to survive this! I just need reassurance!

Well, I think Brynn has pink-eye. Yep, I have had it. We all have. It's a nasty thing. So, tomorrow we go to the clinic! I doubt the doctor can get her in quickly and I am not about to drive to Sulphur Springs in the morning and then back in the afternoon! The girls have been having fun all weekend here. I hope we all are illness free by the next weekend. I sure needs a girls night! :)
