The swine flu scares me. Today, I read that the first U.S. death was a toddler. This baby did travel to Mexico prior to contracting the flu. However, what scares me is that this child is VERY close in age to my baby, Brynn. I just want to be safe. I just want my kids to be safe. I don't want my family to ever contract this. I am scared that my kids are not safely taking vitamins at their dads and I am scared that we aren't all healthy ENOUGH to survive this! I just need reassurance!

Well, I think Brynn has pink-eye. Yep, I have had it. We all have. It's a nasty thing. So, tomorrow we go to the clinic! I doubt the doctor can get her in quickly and I am not about to drive to Sulphur Springs in the morning and then back in the afternoon! The girls have been having fun all weekend here. I hope we all are illness free by the next weekend. I sure needs a girls night! :)

Josh is getting frustrated at work. He is really wanting to move on to the job with the state that he was expecting to hear back about by now. I got a number from Dad to call about checking on his interview. He is planning to call and go for any available position, even if it is in Palestine. We won't move, he will just drive back and forth or stay there for a couple of days at a time. Cross your fingers, yet again..

Well Josh has decided, with my Okay of course, to get a motorcycle..if he can get financed. I am hoping for the best here. The only reason for the 'ok' is that we really need to lower our gas usage. A motorcycle would really be best. Well..I will keep my fingers crossed! x *.* x

Well, Taylor woke up yesterday complaining of a sore throat. I took her on to school and she went home sick yesterday. Instead of taking her to the clinic, like he should have, the ex just set her an appointment with the doctor for Monday. She felt horrible all night last night. She woke many many times crying in her sleep. Eventually, she was in my bed and we were up before 8a getting ready to go to the clinic in Sulphur Springs. I hated to have the co-pay stuck on me, but if getting her well is what needs to be done, then I will! So, we went...turns out that her throat was bleeding, she tested positive for strep throat, and her white count was really highly elevated . So, she got a shot in her butt! >.< Also, she got ten days worth of antibiotic...my baby girl was sick!!! She's playing x-box now and we are enjoying what might actually end up being a nice Saturday! :)

So doing laundry on a Friday night with three kids and an only half-way helpful husband is somewhat chaotic! However, we did manage to survive. The girls run mad for about two hours and when it's over they are sugared up, oddly enough, and no where ready for bedtime. Ooo to one day own my own washer and dryer set in my own home! :D

Well the weather sure has been wishy-washy the past three or four days. Just a few days ago I was sun bathing (see pic):

Anywho..of course now it is back to being cold-ish. Man, I sure am ready for summer! :D
